چکیده
Abstract Study question Does stimulation with letrozole improve reproductive outcomes compared to artificial endometrial preparation before frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) in women PCOS and/or oligo-anovulation? Summary answer Live birth rate (LBR) was significantly improved FET and oligo-anovulatory women. What is known already Letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor reducing oestradiol levels, has been shown increase live LBR clomiphene citrate PCOS/anovulatory intrauterine insemination. There now growing interest its potential value improving cycles as well. Furthermore, recent studies indicate increased risk of hypertensive disorders pregnancies that have arisen following the absence a corpus luteum. Letrozole offers alternative approach cycle progesterone oligo-anovulation preserved ovarian reserve, ensuring luteum, which may outcomes. design, size, duration A systematic review published PubMed or Cochrane library up until 14th October 2022. Frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles
In order to reduce the chance of multiple pregnancy during in-vitro fertilisation (IVF)– embryo transfer treatment, there is an increasing trend towards transferring a lower number of embryos. Surplus good-quality embryos are then transferred in frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. The first pregnancy after FET was reported in 1983.1 It has been estimated that in IVF programmes in which ...
متن کاملEmbryo stage of development is not decisive for reproductive outcomes in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles
OBJECTIVE To evaluate if the outcomes of IVF/ICSI in frozen-thawed embryo transfer and fresh embryo transfer cycles differ in relation to cleavage and blastocyst stages. METHODS Retrospective cohort study to compare IVF/ICSI outcomes between fresh embryo transfer and frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles, according to the stage of embryo development. Analysis was carried out on 443 consecutive...

Background: The objective of this study is to evaluate whether low-dose aspirin affects doppler sonographic parameters of the uterine arteries, endometrial thickness and pregnancy rate of women undergoing frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles. Materials and Methods: This randomized, double- blind, placebo-controlled trial study was conducted between April 2012, and March 2013. A total of 60 elig...
متن کاملCan letrozole plus HMG protocol improve pregnancy outcomes in frozen-thawed embryo transfer? An RCT
BACKGROUND There are different methods in endometrial preparation for frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET). OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to compare the live birth rate in the artificial FET protocol (estradiol/ progesterone with GnRH-agonist) with stimulated cycle FET protocol (letrozole plus HMG). MATERIALS AND METHODS This randomized clinical trial included 100 women (18-42 year...
متن کاملMethods for endometrial preparation in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles.
Frozen-thawed (FT) embryo transfer is a procedure used for the storage and transfer of excess embryos obtained during in vitro fertilization- intracytoplasmic sperm injection cycles. In recent years, improvements in laboratory conditions and limitations on the number of embryos to be transferred have led to a progressive increase in FT embryo transfer cycles. However, the best solution for endo...
